Mayor Taps Port City Partner For Appointment To CVB

Brad Piazza to join Convention and Visitors Bureau as city representative.


Brunswick, GA (February 4, 2022) At the City Commission meeting on February 2, 2022, Mayor Cosby Johnson appointed Brad Piazza to the Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) as the ex-officio representative of the City of Brunswick.


Mayor Johnson played a pivotal role in this placement. Piazza is the CEO of Port City Partners, a company revitalizing downtown Brunswick with sustainability and intentional preservation of the historic area in mind. He is a property owner, investor, developer, and licensed real estate professional with extensive expertise in developing commercial areas with and for the surrounding communities.


The Golden Isles Convention and Visitors Bureau, or CVB, is the official marketing organization promoting tourism in Glynn County. Led by President and CEO Scott McQuade, they advocate for a quality visitor experience while simultaneously protecting the economic stability of our community and have been instrumental in helping Glynn County become a nationally-recognized resort destination.


Mr. Piazza will serve as the ex-officio representative of Brunswick on the Golden Isles CVB for the duration of the mayor’s 4-year term.
